SidAMP - Privacy Policy

The purpose of this privacy policy is to help you understand what the app needs in order to work properly and if any sensitive data is collected by the app.

What user data do we collect?

The app is completely free to use and no kind of user registration or login is required. Therefore no device or user data is collected by the app.

What about tracking?

The app is currently not using any kind of tracking, allthough it is planned in future versions of the app to use the Google Analytics library from Google (that's why this library is also mentioned in the app credits).

What about Android permissions?

The app is using following Android permissions:

• INTERNET (required): Access to internet is required for downloading the SID archive.
• WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE (required): Access to external storage is mandatory for playback and keeping the SID archive up to date. Advantage over internal storage is that the data can be easily backed up or used by other apps.
• RECORD AUDIO (optional): Access to currently playing audio is optional and it is only used by the oscilloscope for visualizing the audio data.

Policy changes

This Policy may change for the future versions of the app. If there are any changes, the "Last update" date above will also change.
